The rosewood saddles often get worn down causing dead strings or buzzing, but they can either be skimmed so that they're back in shape or replaced altogether. Some of the tuners they used in the 60s aren't exactly the best but they work fine if you tune up (ie if the note is sharp then tune flat first then bring it up to pitch) and they're extremely stable once they're in tune. They're also very modern feeling necks compared to pretty much all the other off-brand 60s stuff. I've had one with a bit too much relief and a heat press got it back into shape very easily. The necks on old Danos are generally excellent - there are two steel bars in the neck that keep it nice and straight, and they don't change much with different string gauges.
